Savory Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken Breast!
A few years ago, I stepped on my scale and I weighed in at 309 pounds!! As a 6'3 male who does workout, people tried to tell me that I "looked okay" or "you carry the weight well." If I'm being truthful, my body did not take it well and after a regular check up with the doctor, I was told I had dangerously high blood pressure and my cholesterol was high.... It was time for a change.

I like cooking (this is probably Why my weight ballooned) and I had to find recipes to make that were delicious. The first thing that I made and ate regularly that showed progress on the scale is this recipe.
Savory Bacon Wrapped Stuffed Chicken Breast
Ingredients
3 to 5 Large Boneless/Skinless Chicken Breast
1 package of Cream Cheese (Softened)
¾ cup Feta Cheese
2 Cups Chopped Spinach
1 Package Thick Cut Bacon of Choice (I like applewood)
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tbsp Garlic Powder (optional)
Toothpicks
I've made many different variations of the filling for this recipe but this by far is the simplest and tastiest fillings to make! Take a softened block of cream cheese and add chopped spinach, feta cheese, and your seasonings and mix together.
Salt and pepper your chicken breast, then carefully cut a pocket into each chicken breast by making a horizontal cut into the side of each breast, being careful not to cut through the other side. Stuff each chicken breast pocket with the cream cheese mixture, pressing the mixture down with your fingers to make sure it fills the pocket evenly.
Wrap two to three pieces of bacon around the breast. Once wrapped, push a toothpick into there ends of the bacon to keep everything in place.
Add them to the grill! Cook on both sides until the internal temperature is 165° and the bacon is crispy and cooked through.
I eat these without a side or you can add any side you like!
